- Apply from the official website of the desired University/College along with supporting documents
- Receive the offer letter from the University/College which will have detailed information regarding course tenure, course fee and enrolment fees
- Proceed with the fee payment
- ceive a full offer letter/confirmation of acceptance (CAS) from the University/College
Steps for Application for Study Permit
- An offer letter/ acceptance letter from Designated Learning Institution (DIL)
- Valid travel document such as passport
- Apply for study permit online via Citizenship and Immigration Canada’s (CIC) website
- Canada Study Visa Application fee:CAD 150+85 (Biometric charges)*(Subject to Change)
- Send original passport and pay the processing charge for the same
- Once approved, receive passport with visa stamp on it
- Receive biometrics submission request.
- Visit VFS Global centre for biometrics submission
- Submit Statement of Purpose (SOP)/ Letter of Explanation (LOE)
- Receive passport verification request.
- Undergo the medical test at specific centres assigned by Canada High Commission.
- Secure supporting documents and submit the application to Canada High Commission’s.
Canadian Student Visa Requirements

You are allowed to stay during your course or for more than 90 days on study permit. On the website of the Government of Canada, Canadian student visa application can be submitted online.
Post Study Work Permit in Canada
Post Study work permit plays an important role in Canadian Immigration system. According to this, an international student can work up to 3 years in Canada after completing their graduation from any university or college of Canada. The basis eligibility for Post Study Work permit is that student must have 180 days in hand after applying for Post Study Work permit. Students are given opportunity to be permanent resident of Canada through Post Study work permit.
